The owner
Marcus opened the shop with two chairs and a borrowed clipper.
That was 2014. He'd spent seven years cutting in a shop off South Lamar and wanted somewhere quieter, north of the river, where the same barber cut your hair every time and remembered how you liked it.
He still cuts five days a week. Dez joined in 2017, Tommy in 2020. Nobody's left. The clipper's been replaced.

Walk-ins
Always welcome. Booked clients go first, so a walk-in wait can run 20–40 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays. Put your name on the board by the door and we'll text you when a chair opens.

We're on Burnet Rd between Koenig and Anderson, with free parking out back. Most of our regulars come from:

Questions
Before you sit down.
Do I need to book, or can I just come in?
Either. Booking holds a chair for you at your time. Walk-ins get the next open chair, which on a Saturday afternoon might mean a wait.
What if I'm running late?
Text or call. We hold your slot for 10 minutes. After that we may take a walk-in and slide you to the next opening.
How do I cancel or move an appointment?
Call the shop with your confirmation code. Same-day cancellations are fine; we'd just ask for a heads-up so someone else can take the chair.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes, ages 4 and up. Kids' Classic Cut is $28 Tuesday through Thursday. Book it as a Classic Cut and mention the age in your name field, or just tell us at the chair.
Cash or card?
Both, plus tap-to-pay. Tips can go on the card or in the jar on the counter.
Do you do straight-razor shaves?
As part of The Works, yes: hot lather, straight razor, cold towel. We don't offer the shave on its own.
